About the Club

Is Rivercliff part of a Home Owner's Association (HOA)?

No. Rivercliff Swim & Racquet Club is a separate, member-owned organization. There are no mandatory HOA fees to live in Rivercliff — membership is entirely optional and by choice.

Who runs the club?

Rivercliff is 100% volunteer-run. A group of neighbors handles everything from maintenance to events to membership — there are no paid staff. That also means the club's future depends on active members pitching in.

I heard the club was struggling — what's the status?

We're in the middle of bringing Rivercliff back to life. After a quieter stretch, a group of dedicated neighbors has been reinvesting time and energy into bringing the pool to a level you expect, hosting events, and rebuilding our membership base.

What does membership cost?

Annual dues currently run between $100–$500 depending on membership type. Reach out through our contact form for the current rate and what's included.

Why should I join if I don't have to?

Membership dues are what keep the pool open, the courts maintained, and equipment repaired. Every new member directly helps cover operating costs and keeps this a shared neighborhood amenity rather than losing it altogether.

Can non-neighborhood residents join?

Yes — membership is open to anyone, not just those living in the neighborhood.

Getting Involved

How can I volunteer?

Do you host community events?

Yes! We run seasonal social events, like our Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk and Treat, and Mimosas & Muumuus back-to-school celebration, to bring neighbors together and celebrate the neighborhood. Watch this site for upcoming dates.
